Sonar Tracker: How do I set EYFS (2020) targets?

  • Updated

Overview

This article explains how to set EYFS (2020) Targets in Sonar Tracker. It's easy to do and will give you a second option for tracking pupil progress.

Target grades/scores indicate how much a pupil is expected to have learned and how well they are expected to master a particular subject by the end of the selected Assessment Period.

Targets cannot be copied from one term to the next so we recommend entering them for Summer 2 so you can refer to them throughout the year in the Target Analysis Report.

Instructions

  1. Select Assess.
  2. From the Targets tile, select EYFS (2020) Targets:
  3. When prompted, select the Year Group and/or Class that you want to enter targets for, and select Load Assessment:
  4. Select a cell to enter the target for the pupil.
  5. When prompted, select the target.

If you would prefer to bulk fill your targets to save time, see Sonar Tracker: How do I bulk fill data?

Outcomes

Your results will be saved automatically when you select a target.
