MIS: View, filter and export parent contacts in MIS

MIS

Overview

This article explains how to view, search, filter, and export parent contacts for your pupils in Juniper MIS. A parent contact may be classified as having parental responsibility, being an emergency contact, or both. It covers finding a parent, filtering and customising the list, exporting it, and opening a parent's full record.

View and search parent contacts

Follow these steps to open the list of parent contacts and find a specific parent.

  1. Select Contacts / All Parents.
  2. Enter a name in Search to find a specific parent.

The list shows each parent's name, their relationship and the pupil they're linked to, address, phone number, and email. Where a parent is linked to more than one pupil, the list shows "and more" after the first pupil's name:

  1. Select the parent's name in the list.

Their full contact record opens, showing relationship, address, and any parental responsibility or emergency contact details. From this view you can edit their details:

Export the parent contact list

Follow these steps to download the parent contact list:

  1. Select Export.
  2. Select Export as Excel, Export as CSV, or Export as PDF.

The file downloads to your device in the format you chose.
