MIS
Overview
This article explains how to view, search, and export sibling contacts for your pupils in Juniper MIS. A sibling contact is a contact recorded as a brother or sister of one or more pupils at your school. It covers finding a sibling, customising which contact details show, and exporting the list.
View and search sibling contacts
Follow these steps to open the list of sibling contacts and find a specific sibling:
- Select Contacts / All Siblings.
- Enter a name in Search to find a specific sibling.
The list shows each sibling's name, their relationship and the pupil they're linked to, address, phone number, and email. Where a sibling is linked to more than one pupil, the list shows "and more" after the first pupil's name:
Customise the contact details shown
Follow these steps to change which contact details appear in the list:
- Select Columns.
- Check or uncheck Contact name, Relationship and pupil name, Address, Phone, or Email, depending on what you want to see.
The list updates immediately to show only the columns you selected.
View a sibling's details
Follow these steps to see the pupil record for a sibling:
- Select the subling's name in the list.
Their pupil record opens.
Export the sibling contact list
Follow these steps to download the sibling contact list:
- Select Export.
- Select Export as Excel, Export as CSV, or Export as PDF.
The file downloads to your device in the format you chose.
The export only includes the columns currently shown, so customise them first if you need specific details.
Tips and best practices
- Customise the columns before you export, so the file only contains the contact details you need.
