MIS: No pupils appear in Step 2 of the CTF export

Overview

This article explains how to resolve the issue of no pupils appearing in Step 2 of the CTF export process in Juniper MIS.

Do not continue with an empty pupil list. Doing so will export all pupil records, which makes the export file incorrect. 

Solution

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Sign out of Juniper MIS.
  2. Clear your browser's cookies and cache (see the appropriate steps below for your browser).
  3. Sign back in to Juniper MIS.
  4. When prompted, select Allow all cookies. If prompted twice, select Allow all cookies both times:

  5. Return to the CTF export wizard and check that the pupils now appear in Step 2.

Clear your browser's cookies and cache

Follow the appropriate steps below for your browser:

  •  
    1. In the top right of the screen, select the vertical ellipsis (three vertical dots).
    2. Select Delete browsing data.
    3. Set the time range to All time.
    4. Check the box next to Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data.
    5. Select Clear Data.
  •  
    1. In the top right of the screen, select the horizontal ellipsis (three horizontal dots).
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Clear browsing data.
    4. Select Choose what to clear.
    5. Set the time range to All time.
    6. Check the box next to Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data.
    7. Select Clear Data.

Outcome

Pupils appear in Step 2 of the CTF export and you can continue with your export as normal.
