MIS: How do I add a Behaviour Consequence?

Overview

This article explains how to add a Behaviour Consequence within Juniper MIS. Behaviour Consequences are selected when recording Behaviour Incidents (see MIS: How do I record a Behaviour Incident for one or more pupils?). Behaviour Consequences are used when recording pupil behaviour incidents to record the consequence for the behaviour exhibited. 

Prerequisites

  • You must have Account Admin or Account Owner permissions to add a Behaviour Consequence.

Instructions

Open All Behaviour Consequences

From the Juniper MIS:

  1. Select Pupils.
  2. Select Behaviours.
  3. Select Behaviour Settings.
  4. Select the Consequences tab:

Add a Behaviour Consequence

  1. Select Edit:

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the list.
  3. Select Add:

  4. When prompted:

    1. Enter a name into the blank box for the Behaviour Consequence.
    2. Check / uncheck Active (by default, the box is checked - set to Active). Active Behaviour Consequences are available for use in the MIS).
  5. Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 for each Behaviour Consequence you want to add.
  6. Scroll to the top and select Save.

Outcome

The new Behaviour Consequence is saved. A message is displayed confirming this:
