People First: How do I record / report neonatal absence?

This article explains two methods for processing neonatal absence requests, depending on whether you use HRIS for Payroll.

  • To report neonatal absence for addition to your payroll in People First, Submit a request to Juniper Education (raise a Zendesk ticket), providing the following information:
    1. The employee's name.
    2. Confirmation that the employee is the baby’s parent or the mother’s partner with caring responsibilities for the baby.
    3. Date baby was born.
    4. If adopted, please provide the date they were placed with the adoptive parents or the date they entered into Great Britain if adopted from overseas.
    5. Start and end date of baby’s neonatal care.
    6. Start date of neonatal care leave.
    7. Intended return to work date.
