Currently, the Subjects from the EYFS Framework are listed in the EYFS Summative area of Sonar Tracker.
By default, the 17 Aspects that match directly to the Early Learning Goal Assessments are enabled.
Whilst you can include other subjects for formative assessment if you take advantage of our Formative customisation service, we currently keep to the ELG areas for EYFS Summative Assessment.
Can we add other subjects eg RE, Arabic etc?
Currently, we expect RE for EYFS pupils to be recorded within the aspect People, Culture and Communities, therefore, we don't offer a separate Religious Education subject area for EYFS.
It may be useful for you to assess RE summatively in Assessments > Primary Summative for EYFS children. If you are assessing children in Nursery cohorts, select Reception initially and then, once you have chosen the subject use Active Filters to remove Reception, and choose a Nursery class group.
For this to be considered for change, we need to understand why schools are asking for this and ensure any changes are in line with the functionality of the software.
