Comms Hub: How do I reschedule a message?

Comms Hub

Overview

This article explains how to reschedule previously scheduled app messages, emails, and SMS before they are sent to your contacts.

When rescheduling messages, you can only send them within the current academic year. To determine which dates are within the current academic year, the system uses the school's term dates if they are set in the Juniper MIS. If term dates are not configured, the last date you can schedule with an academic year is 31 August.

Instructions

From within Comms Hub:

  1. Select Communications.
  2. Select Scheduled to open Scheduled Messages:

  3. Select the message you want to reschedule:
  4. When the message opens, select Cancel Send:
  5. The message opens in the Compose New Message view. Select Schedule for Later:
  6. When prompted:
    1. Select a date within the current academic year to reschedule the message.

Remember, Comms Hub checks your school's actual term dates (when they've been set) and stops you scheduling a message beyond the last day of term for the selected academic year. Where no term dates have been set, you are unable to schedule past the 31 August.

    2. Select a rescheduled time to send the message.
    3. Select Schedule for Later.

Outcome

The message is rescheduled. You are returned to Scheduled Messages where a confirmation message is displayed, and the rescheduled message is added to the list including details of its publication date and time:
