Comms Hub: How do I get started with Awards & Activities?

Overview

This article comprises demonstrations about Awards & Activities, including how to invite staff and parents, award points and badges, and create and share informal observations.

The Awards & Activities module is an additional feature in Comms Hub.  It enables teachers to share positive, engaging feedback about pupils with their families through the Juniper Parent App.

While this information helps you get started with Awards & Activities, more detailed courses are available in the Juniper Training Centre. These courses include extra details and resources to help you when introducing your parents to Awards & Activities:

Demonstrations

  • Now that you are part of Juniper JoinUp, staff will login via the Juniper Portal, making it easy to access both Sonar, and the other apps included.

  • The Account Owner will need to ensure staff are invited to use the system through the Juniper Portal.

    Teachers will need Partial Edit access to enable them to work with their own classes in the Comms Hub.

  • The Account Owner must invite parents and guardians to access the Juniper Parent App through the Juniper Portal. After they have been invited, they will receive an email requesting they download the app and log in.
