Elements
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Pupils | Number of pupils who are included in the report (includes those without assessment data). |
| X Pupils With No Assessment | Number of pupils who have no assessment data. |
| Characteristic | This column identifies the pupil group (by either characteristic, ethnicity, or attendance) that it represents. |
| No Assessment |
This field is only displayed if there are pupils within the selected set who have no assessment data / missing assessment data. The field indicates the percentage and number of pupils (displayed in brackets) where no assessment data has been recorded. The percentage is calculated as follows: No Assessment % = This percentage is calculated based on the size of the pupil group, for example, if there are 25 boys, and 5 have no assessment data, the percentage of boys with no assessment data is (5 ÷ 25) x 100 = 20% |
| Significantly Below |
This Age Related Expectation indicator shows the percentage and number of pupils working in a Band associated with a lower Year Group (they're achieving at the level of a lower Year Group than would be expected for pupils in their Year Group). They are accessing appropriate curriculum content, and are likely categorised as SEN. This percentage is calculated based on the size of the pupil group, not the total number of pupils in the overall report, except for All Pupils. |
| Below |
This Age Related Expectation indicator shows the percentage and number of pupils working towards, but currently below their Band, and the Band is within that of their Year Group. They are currently unlikely to achieve the Expected Key Stage standard. This percentage is calculated based on the size of the pupil group, not the total number of pupils in the overall report, except for All Pupils. |
| Just At |
This Age Related Expectation indicator shows the percentage and number of pupils who are just working at the level of their Age Related Expectation. Pupils who are Just At are on track, and if they continue to progress at the same rate, they should achieve the expected standard at the end of the Key Stage; however, they are only just at this level. They may not achieve their Age Related Expectation if, for example, they were to take unexpected time off school. This percentage is calculated based on the size of the pupil group, not the total number in the overall report, except for All Pupils. |
| Securely At |
This Age Related Expectation indicator shows the percentage and number of pupils who are securely working at their Age Related Expectation. If these pupils continue to progress at the same rate, they should achieve the expected standard at the end of the Key Stage. Most pupils will be working at this level. This percentage is calculated based on the size of the pupil group, not the total number of pupils in the overall report, except for All Pupils. |
| Above |
This Age Related Expectation indicator shows the percentage and number of pupils working in a Band above their Age Related Expectation, but within that of their Year Group. This percentage is calculated based on the size of the pupil group, not the total number of pupils in the overall report, except for All Pupils. |
| Significantly Above |
This Age Related Expectation indicator shows the percentage and number of pupils working in a Band above that which is expected for their Year Group. They are working at the Band of a higher Year Group. It is very rare that pupils are working at this level in a UK school, as they are unlikely to be moved into a higher Year Group to be taught a subject. This percentage is calculated based on the size of the pupil group, not the total number of pupils in the overall report, except for All Pupils. |
| % At or Above |
Percentage of pupils who are % At or Above in the group, for the selected Subjects. This percentage is calculated based on the size of the pupil group, not the total number of pupils in the overall report, except for All Pupils. Pupils whose ARE is Just At, Securely At, Above and Significantly Above make up those counted in the measure: % At or Above = |
| Total Pupils | The number of pupils in the group, not in the overall report, except for All Pupils. |
