Overview
This article explains how you can add one or more files / documents to your webpages using document blocks, rather than at the bottom of the page as an attachment or a link from the File Manager. This enables you to integrate your documents into the text of your webpages seamlessly, enhancing the user experience.
Instructions
Follow these steps to add a document block into your webpage:
- Select the content area, where you would like to insert the document block.
- Select the Edit tab.
- Select the Blocks icon:
- Scroll down the Blocks and select the Documents block:
- From the Document Block window, select the document(s) that you want to add:
- To add one or more documents that are saved on your device, select Upload from device and select the files you want to add to your webpage.

When you add files / documents from the File Manager, be aware that the link can be shared and accessed without permission checks.
- Rename any file / document titles as appropriate:
- By default, the files / documents will be displayed in the order that they have been uploaded. If you would like to change this order:
- Either drag-and-drop the files / documents in the list:
- Or select a different Sort Order:
- Select Name A-Z to sort by name in alphabetic order (ascending).
- Select Name Z-A to sort by name in alphabetic order (descending).
- Either drag-and-drop the files / documents in the list:
- Select General if you'd like to include a title for the block, or if you're an FED and want to change the template to one you have uploaded:
- Check Include Title, then when prompted, enter the Title for the document block (this will show as a heading in your webpage):
- Select a Template from those available
- Select OK.

The document block is added inline to your webpage:
Select a document block to make changes to it.
