This error can occur in each of the Census returns (Autumn, Spring and Summer) and relates to the amount of attendance sessions a student has attendance codes for during the specified date range that the census is looking at. Usually the error occurs when a leaving date has been entered against a different term which means it looks like the student was on roll during the period that the census is looking at. |
For Autumn: For pupil no longer on roll in the first summer half term the attendance sessions possible must be greater than or equal to zero For Spring and Summer: For pupil no longer on roll the attendance sessions possible must be greater than or equal to zero Example scenario Pupil X has generated a 2510 error. Their last day of term was 19/07/2024 however, when we look at their pupil record a leaving date of 03/09/2024 has been added. In census terms, this date falls into the Autumn term and so the census is expecting attendance for the Autum term. To correct this, the pupils end date will need to be amended to the last day of the Summer term e.g. 19/07/2024. How to resolve a 2510 error 1. Access the profile of the pupil concerned. 2. Click EDIT. 3. Locate the school history section which will look something similar to this. 4. Click EDIT next to the leaving date entry. 5. A pop up like the one below will appear. Click OK. 6. In the pop up window that appears (see example below) amend the end date field so that it correctly reflects the actual last day that the pupil was on roll at your school. 7. You should now find that this will resolve your 2510 error. |
