On the Summary Page of the Spring Census Table 5 is entitled 'Specific types of pupils on roll'. This provides us with a detailed breakdown of those children that are on roll and their status. See example screenshot below.
Eligible for Free School Meals on Census Day relates to the number of children that have Free School Meal eligibility (even if they are also entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals) on Census Day. This number will display at the very bottom of your Super Summary page underneath the column FSM Eligible and look something like the example below.
This number can be validated by going to Pupils > Pupil List and filtering on FSM as follows.
Unique pupils reported in this Census with ANY period of eligibility for FSM, ever relates to the number of children on roll that have had any period of eligibility. This number can be validated by going to Pupils > Pupil List and filtering on Ever 6 as follows.
