Overview
This article explains how to enter or edit / change / update your Phonics Screening Check scores for pupils in Year 1 and Year 2 using the Statutory Assessments page in Juniper MIS.
Prerequisites
- To enter or edit Phonics Screening Check scores, pupils must currently be in Year 1 or Year 2. These cannot be entered or edited for pupils in any other year groups. In previous years, the threshold to determine whether a pupil had met the expected standard was 32. If the pupil does not achieve this score in Year 1, they’ll have to re-do the check in Year 2. If a pupil achieves the pass mark in Year 1, their data does not need to be entered in the Year 2.
Instructions
Follow these steps to enter your Phonics Screening Check scores:
- Select Pupils.
- Select Statutory Assessment to open the Statutory Assessment page:
- Select either Year 1 or Year 2 (as appropriate) from using the Year Group filter.
- Make sure Phonics is selected for the Stage filter.

-
