Overview
This article explains how to set one or more Default Meal Plans for one or more pupils from the Meals Log. The Default Meal Plan defines what school meals a pupil has chosen to eat in the future, day-by-day, week-by-week and month-by-month. Use the Default Meal Plan at the start of each academic year, term, half-term or week (based on your needs) to populate the selected pupils' choices.
Instructions
Open Meal Log
From Juniper MIS:
- Select Manage.
- Select School Meals.
- Select Meals.
Set Default Meal Plan
From the Meal Log:
- Make sure that the Pupil tab is selected.
- Select the pupils for whom you want to set a Default Meal Plan:
- Select one or more pupils individually by checking next to their Full Name.
- Select all pupils by checking the box next to the Full Name column title.
Select Bulk Actions:
Select Meal Booking:
From Pupil Bulk Meal Booking:
- Select a Start Date (from today's date onwards).
- Select an End Date (up to the last day of the academic year).
For each day of the week, each week, select a Meal Type to be applied to all selected pupils. Either manually enter these one-by-one or use the bulk fill feature to update the daily selected meal type for every week:
- Select the ellipsis next to the day of the week you want to bulk fill.
- Select Select...
- Select a meal type from the options available.
- Modify any exceptions manually as required.
- Select Save.
When prompted, confirm that you want to save your changes by selecting Save:
- Repeat the above Steps 2 - 5 for each Pupil Bulk Meal Booking you want to add.
Outcome
The Pupil Bulk Meal Booking is applied to each pupil selected for each weekday in the selected date range. A messages confirming the changes is displayed:
