Comms Hub: How do I create a custom badge?

This article explains how to create a custom badge in Comms Hub. 

Instructions

Follow these steps to add a custom badge from Comms Hub:

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Interactions.
  3. Select Custom Badges.
  4. From Custom Badges, select Create:
  5. From Create Custom Badge:

    1. Enter a suitable title for the badge in Badge Title.
    2. Upload an image file for the badge. Select the badge upload image, or drag and drop your file. You can upload a PNG, JPG orWebP file up to 10MB in size. 
  6. When the Badge Image is uploaded, select Save

    The custom badge will be available for selection when users are awarding badges. Custom badges are displayed before other badges in the badge selection list. 

Outcome

The custom badge is created. A confirmation message confirms this, and you are returned to the Custom Badges page where the badge and it's title are shown:

When custom badges are created, it can take up to 30 minutes for them to appear in the Juniper Education App for Teachers. After that time, teachers will be able to award them to pupils using the App.
