Comms Hub: How do I add points?

Overview

This article explains how to add points in increments of five or more (up to 25), for one or more pupils in Comms Hub.

To save time, when working in the Comms Hub Home page / Dashboard and you have a single class assigned to you, select Class, then proceed to Step 4 of the instructions below. If you have multiple classes assigned to you, select Classes, then proceed to Step 3:

From within Comms Hub, follow these steps to add points:

  1. Select Interactions.
  2. Select Classes.
  3. Select the pupils' Class.
  4. From within the Class:
    1. Check one or more pupils to award points. You can select all pupils by checking the checkbox next to Name Selected.
    2. Select Add Points.
  5. From Add Points:
    1. Enter a Summary explaining why you are awarding the points.
    2. Select the number of Points from 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25.
  6. Select Save.

Outcome

The points will be added for the pupils. Depending on how your system is configured, they will either be instantly published or sent for approval, then subsequently published.
