Once you have entered all of your statutory data into Sonar Tracker;

You can create an export of this information as a CTF to import into your MIS. Once the data is in your MIS you can then submit it to your Local Authority. You cannot create a data return direct to your LA from Sonar, it needs to go into your MIS first. 

Sonar Tracker: How do I export statutory end of key stage data from Sonar Tracker?

If you previously used Target Tracker you had two options;

1. Create a CTF for your MIS,
2. Create a CTF to send to the LA

In Sonar the CTF that is created is for import into your MIS, then from there you can create your data return for the LA/County. The reasoning behind this is:

• The data needs to be in your MIS anyway so this ensures this is done.
• Local Authorities have advised that they prefer the file to come from an MIS.
