Overview
This article describes the various advanced filter options available to enable / disable when setting up which student data filters to include or exclude in your reports for a specific cohort.
By default, all filters are enabled so that they can be used in your reports.

Advanced Filter Options
Filter Breakdown
Disable Filter Breakdown for a filter to stop it from appearing in Breakdown in the reports, which allows you to compare the filter values for a filter, including up to 15 unique values.
Filters Level Report (KS3/4) / Groups Level Report (KS5)
Disable Filters Level Report (in KS3/4) or Groups Level Report (in KS5) for a filter to stop a user from being able to compare the filter values / groups for a filter, including up to 15 unique values.
Apply Filter (KS3/4 only)
Disable Apply Filter for a filter to remove it from the Filters tab in KS3/4 reports, which allows you to filter the reports by one or more individual filter values.
Key Characteristics
Disable Key Characteristics for a filter to stop it from appearing in the Key Characteristics of the reports (displayed as a key icon in the KS3/4 reports), which allows you to view the count or percentage of each filter value for students in the selected report.
Student Detail
Disable Student Detail for a filter to stop it appearing from the Student Detail report, which allows you to view the filter values for an individual student, as well as the grades they have achieved in that data set.
