I'm getting an error message when switching to a cohort in the MAT reports?

When switching from one cohort to another and the following 'There was a problem' error message appears on the screen, this article details how to fix this problem.

This error is caused due to a 'Default' Data Collection not being assigned for the cohort you're switching to.

To fix this, click Return Home, then go to the Settings area, then within Data Collections, select the relevant Key Stage and Cohort from the dropdowns at the top:

In this example above, you will see the Default column is blank. As such, there needs to be one Data Collection selected as the default, which will be the collection that appears initially when switching to this particular cohort.

Select the desired Data Collection you wish to appear by default by clicking the radio button next to it.

You should now be able to go back to the Insights area and view the reports for this cohort.
