If you have a school whose EBacc figure does not look correct, we would recommend checking the following within Sisra Analytics:
Is there a specific EBacc element with unusually low figures, or figures of 0?
You can check this via REPORTS > select KS3/4 and Cohorts > select the Data Set > click Headlines and scroll down to the EBacc tables.
For example the screenshot below shows there are 0 students entered for the Languages element of the EBacc, based on this it would be worthwhile checking for issues with the Languages qualifications and/or grades.
Are all grades uploaded for all EBacc eligible qualifications, and are these correct for the students?
You can check this via GRADES > Grades Management > select the Data Set/Assessment Collection and check the 'Grades Count' column for each qualification.
For example the screenshot below shows a grade count for 0 for MFL French and MFL Spanish, as there are no language grades uploaded - students would not count towards the Languages element of the EBacc.
Are the qualifications set up appropriately on the Matching Page?
You can access this via GRADES > Matching. We would recommend checking the QN codes entered here are correct, to ensure the correct KS4 Measure and Special options are selected.
For example we can see below that no QN code has been entered for MFL French, so this is currently set to 'None' in the Special column meaning this will not count towards subject specific measures such as the EBacc, Attainment 8, and so on.
Note: Further guidance on troubleshooting EBacc figures can be found within our "KS3/4 Troubleshooting - EBacc figures in the Reports (Admin)" article.
