Juniper Websites: How do I schedule an emergency popup?

Overview

This article explains how to schedule an emergency popup instead of publishing it immediately.

Prerequisites

You must be an administrator to schedule an emergency popup.

Instructions

Follow these steps to schedule an emergency popup:

  1. Select Settings from the Website tab.
  2. Select Popup Settings.
  3. Select Emergency Popup:
  4. To switch the popup feature on, set Enable Popup? to Yes.
  5. Enter a title for your popup in Popup Title.
  6. Enter your popup message in Popup Content.
  7. Select the date and time you would like to publish (Publish this popup on) and archive (Archive this popup on) your message:
  8. Scroll down and select Preview to see how your message will display.
  9. Select the x on the message to close the preview and return to the Popup Settings window:
  10. Select Save.
  11. You will be notified that the popup has been saved and will be published based on the publication and archive date and time you entered:
  12. Select OK to confirm. 
  13. Select X to close the window. 

Outcome

The popup will be saved. Once published, when a viewer lands on your website's homepage the emergency message will be displayed. The message will be disabled until the archive date and time specified:
