Overview
This article explains how to delete content items (for example a pages, news categories, blog categories, photo galleries or calendars) from Sitemap View.
Prerequisites
- You must be an Administrator to delete content items from Sitemap View.
Instructions
Items can only be deleted when they have no sub-items beneath them.
To delete an item in the Sitemap View:
- Select Start Edit:

Right-click on the item you want to delete and select Delete:
- When prompted, select Delete to confirm:
If Delete is greyed out, the page you're trying to delete is likely open in another browser tab. Make sure that the page is closed in all tabs. Navigate to your homepage, double-check that no other tabs have the page open, and then try deleting it from the Sitemap View.
Outcome
The page is deleted.
