Sonar Tracker: How do I produce a contextual data report in Sonar Tracker?

Introduction

This article explains how to use the Pupil Overview report in Sonar Tracker to view contextual/basic characteristics of pupils in your school. This report can be used to provide context in Governor reports. 

Instructions

  1. Select Analysis:

  2. Select Pupil Overview:

    The Pupil Overview report loads showing contextual data and attendance figures for your school. By default, data is shown for all pupils and each year group:
  3. Select the various tabs, to change how the table is structured:
    1. Select By Year Group to view contextual data for all pupils and by each individual year.
    2. Select By Gender to view contextual data for all pupils, females and males.
    3. Select By Disadvantaged to view contextual data for all pupils, for those disadvantaged and those who are not categorised as disadvantaged.
    4. Select By SEN to view contextual data for all pupils, for those categorised as SEN and those who are not categorised as SEN.
  4. Toggle Percentage View to switch between showing pupil numbers or percentages in the table.
