Overview
This article explains how to use the Sonar Tracker: EYFS Good Level of Development Tracking Report to view those pupils currently on track for GLD.
Using the report, you can quickly see those pupils currently on track for GLD based on whether they are working at the expected level at this point in time for each of the twelve subject areas that make up GLD. Where pupils are not yet achieving GLD, you can identify areas for development in one or more subjects and introduce interventions to maximise each pupil's opportunity for GLD.
Instructions
- Select Reports.
- Select EYFS Summative GLD.
- When prompted, select the pupils you wish to include in the report by selecting one or more Year Groups and/or Classes then select Load Report:
Outcome
The report is displayed:
The Summative Assessment for GLD MET column indicates whether a pupil is on track for GLD:
- YES - The pupil has achieved GLD.
- NO - The pupil has not yet achieved GLD.
Where a pupil has yet to achieve GLD, look at the Number of Goals At ARE and the Subject Areas where they are not working to the expected standard. This will help you to determine where pupils require support to achieve ARE.
Those pupils whose Number of Goals At ARE is either 9, 10 or 11 may provide opportunities for quick wins.
Look at individual Subject Areas across all pupils. Identifying Subjects Areas where many pupils are not working at the expected level highlights areas for additional focus.
