Sonar Tracker: How can I use Sonar Tracker to prepare for my parents' evening?

Overview

This article explains how to use the Single Pupil Overview report to prepare for a parents' evening. For each pupil, the report includes all codes, formative assessment data and summative assessment data. You can share this snapshot with parents to show them where their child is working, whether that be the percentage of the curriculum they are secure with, where they are working compared to year group expectations or how they performed in a test.

Instructions

To open the Single Pupil Overview report:

  1. Select Reports.
  2. Select Single Pupil Overview.
  3. When prompted, select the Year Groups and/or Class of the pupil, then select their name:

Outcome

The Single Pupil Overview report will load. You can either print this out in advance of the parents' evening or where your school allows, share it on-screen when you meet with the parents. The information included will help inform and facilitate your discussions with parents:
