Overview
This article explains how to find Subject Progress Index (SPI) figures in Sisra Analytics.
Prerequisites
Your administrator must have published with the Sisra Data Collaboration.
Instructions
To view SPI scores, for example, within the Grades reports:
- Select Grades on the blue navigation bar.
- Select either the Overview, Totals, or Grade List report.
- Select whether you want to view this for your Filter groups, Faculties, Qualifications, Classes, or Students:
Outcome
After the report loads, there are two blue columns showing SPI information:
- Subject Progress Index column. This shows the SPI score.
- SPI Chart column. This provides a visual representation for easy comparison.
At the bottom of the report, the Summary row shows the average SPI for your chosen group:
To export all students' SPI scores in each qualification, in a broadsheet format, see Sisra Analytics: How do I export SPI scores for each student in each qualification?
Colour Coding
SPI scores are colour-coded to indicate whether a student’s score is positive (green) or negative (red).
The colour density varies depending on how positive or negative the figures are. The boundaries for the SPI colour coding ranges can be seen to the right.
When viewing SPI at the student level, you may see warning icons to draw your attention to specific SPI scores, which you may want to consider when analysing the data. See the SPI Warning section in Sisra Analytics: KS3/4 - How is SPI (Subject Progress Index) calculated? for further information about their meaning.
