Juniper Websites: Embedding a News Story or Blog Post

Components are a great way to re-use content you have already added to your site elsewhere.  There are Components that can be used to embed either a News/Blog Post which will output a single article/post of your choice.  The component will display the title, introduction and thumbnail,  as well as a link to access the full item of content.

Pre-requisite - You will need to ensure you have previously created a news or blog category and created an article or post, so that you have content to embed on to the page.

Inserting the Component

  1. Select Components in the Edit tab:
    Insert Content Block
  2. Select the Website Content > News Story or Website Content > Blog Post
  3. The Add Component window opens:
    • Select Browse to open a tree view of your site from which you can select the news item or blog post. Select the item you would like to embed into your page, then select Select.
    • Enter the number of news items / blog posts to display by entering a number in Limit.
  4. Select OK.

The template and attachment options are only relevant if you have bespoke/custom styling set up for your components
