Overview
This article explains the purpose of the Confirm Upload Qualification Names page, provides instructions for use, and provides an example.
When uploading an additional set of grades or baselines, the Confirm Upload Qualification Names page opens when qualification names in the upload file differ from those previously uploaded for the cohort. For each unrecognised qualification listed on the page, choose to create a new qualification row on your matching page, or merge the qualification with an existing qualification
The page displays those qualifications not recognised in your file on the left (File Qualifications) and the existing qualifications for the cohort in dropdowns to the right (SISRA Qualifications):
Instructions
When prompted with the Confirm Upload Qualification Names page:
- Select New in SISRA Qualifications to create a new qualification row on your Matching page.
- Select an existing qualification in SISRA Qualifications to merge into, for example, if a qualification in your upload file is called Y10 Summer Art, select Art in the dropdown box to merge Y10 Summer Art into Art qualifications.
- After making selections, select Complete the Upload.
Any qualification included in the grade file but not listed on the Confirm Upload Qualification Names page doesn't require any manual intervention, as it is already being merged into an existing qualification, as the name is identical in the file and Sisra Analytics.
When uploading A2 qualifications for the first time for a Y13 cohort, select New to keep these separate from the existing AS qualifications.
Example
The KS4 qualifications English Lang, Mathematics, and MFL Polish are flagged in the grades file that is being uploaded:
English Lang and Mathematics exist for the cohort using different qualification names. English Lang is mapped to English Language, and Mathematics is mapped to Maths to merge the grades.
MFL Polish grades are being uploaded for the first time. The qualification does not exist for the cohort. Select New to create this as a new, separate qualification on the matching page.
Outcome
Grades will be merged into the selected qualifications. Where New was selected, you must complete the Matching process for these.
