Juniper Websites: Enhanced Popup

Administrators can add and edit multiple homepage popup messages if you have purchased the Enhanced Popup feature:

The message can be closed by selecting the cross in the corner.

If more than one message is displayed, visitors can page through using the arrows.

If you don't have this feature and want to add it, contact your Customer Success Manager for more information.

If you are also using a custom popup, or emergency popup, they should be disabled so that only one of the options is live on the site.

Adding an announcement message using the enhanced pop-up

  1. Open Settings from the Website tab.
  2. Select Popup Settings:
  3. Select Enhanced Popup:
  4. Select New to add a popup to the list:
  5. Set Pop-up Enabled to Yes (to hide the popup / disable the popup, select No). 
  6. Enter the Title.
  7. Enter the Subtitle as required.
  8. Enter your message in Content.
  9. To add a link to your popup:
    • Enter the link URL in Link, or if you want to link to an item on your website, select Select Internal link.
    • Enter the text to display on the button in Link text.
    • Select where you want the link to open in Link opens in.
  10. Select OK to create your popup.
  11. Select OK to confirm you understand the popup will now go live:
  12. Your popup(s) will display in the Enhance Popup settings page:

  13. Select Preview to see how your popup looks:
  14. Repeat steps 4 to 13 to create further popups as required.
  15. Select Save:

If you are certain that you have pop-up functionality on your website, but cannot see the settings here, you may be looking for the Custom Popup or Emergency Popup. If you don't have this option, we can add it for £65.
