Sonar Tracker: How do I enter Statutory Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) scores?

Overview

This article explains how to enter your Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) results into Sonar Tracker on the rare occasion that you need to. 

You will need to export the MTC results from the Assessment Portal and import them into Sonar Tracker. Depending on the version of Sonar Tracker you are using, refer to the following articles:

Demonstration

The following interactive guide shows you how to enter statutory assessment data in Sonar Tracker. Select the relevant data that you want to enter when prompted to see a step-by-step demonstration:

Instructions

  1. Select Assessments.
  2. From the Statutory Assessments pane, select Multiplication Tables Check:
  3. When prompted, select Year 4 or a year 4 class for which you wish to enter test results:
  4. Select Open Assessment, the Multiplications Table Check input page opens for the selected pupils:
  5. Select Edit Assessment
  6. From Edit Assessment:

    1. Optionally, change the Assessment Date if it is different to the one shown (by default this is today's date).
    2. Select Start Editing.
  7. Enter a pupil's MTC Score, between 0 and 25 (or the appropriate code if they did not take the check).
  8. Repeat Step 7 for each pupil.

Tips

If an invalid value is entered, the multiplication check score/code cell will turn red and will not be saved:

Outcome

The pupil's multiplication check score/code is recorded and saved. 

Reporting MTC

This data will show in the Statutory Dashboard in the Analysis tab. Data is refreshed overnight so data entered today will show in the dashboard tomorrow.
