Juniper Websites: Disassociate and re-authorise access to Instagram

Sometimes the connection between third-party products can be disconnected when third parties make changes or updates to their systems. This means that these connections sometimes need to be re-established.

Disassociating access to Instagram

  1. Navigate to your website's home page.
  2. Scroll through the home page, locate and select the Instagram button next to your newsfeed. It will look the same as, or similar to the buttons below:
  3. Select Disassociate with Instagram from the Instagram Link window:

Your website will be disassociated with your Instagram account. A blue button will appear on the Instagram Link dialogue box to inform you the website has been disassociated.

Re-authorising access to Instagram

Once you have disassociated your Instagram account from your website, you will then need to re-authorise access by following the steps below:

  1. Navigate to your website's home page.
  2. Scroll through the home page, locate and select the Instagram button next to your newsfeed.
  3. Select Log in via Facebook from the Instagram Link window:
  4. Enter your personal Facebook account email address or phone number and password when prompted (do not log into the Facebook Business account), then select Log in:

If you see the option to Continue as, select Log in to another account and manually enter your credentials (email and password):

This is important because if you have changed your password since you last logged in, your old password will be stored in Juniper Websites and will not work as expected.
  5. Follow the prompts provided to select your Instagram account page. A green message will notify you when your website has been authorised to access Instagram.
