Sometimes the connection between third-party products can be disconnected when third parties make changes or updates to their systems. This means that these connections sometimes need to be re-established.
Disassociating access to Instagram
- Navigate to your website's home page.
- Scroll through the home page, locate and select the Instagram button next to your newsfeed. It will look the same as, or similar to the buttons below:
- Select Disassociate with Instagram from the Instagram Link window:
Your website will be disassociated with your Instagram account. A blue button will appear on the Instagram Link dialogue box to inform you the website has been disassociated.
Re-authorising access to Instagram
Once you have disassociated your Instagram account from your website, you will then need to re-authorise access by following the steps below:
- Navigate to your website's home page.
- Scroll through the home page, locate and select the Instagram button next to your newsfeed.
- Select Log in via Facebook from the Instagram Link window:
- Enter your personal Facebook account email address or phone number and password when prompted (do not log into the Facebook Business account), then select Log in:
If you see the option to Continue as, select Log in to another account and manually enter your credentials (email and password):
This is important because if you have changed your password since you last logged in, your old password will be stored in Juniper Websites and will not work as expected. -
Follow the prompts provided to select your Instagram account page. A green message will notify you when your website has been authorised to access Instagram.
