Sonar Tracker: Do I have to enter a separate ELG assessment at the end of the year?

Since the statutory assessments are linked to specific assessment criteria and outcomes, you will need to enter them individually. When assessing your EYFS assessments in the Summer Term there are two different types to enter - Summative and ELG assessments.

Summative Assessments (for example, Below, At and Above)

These are made throughout the year against the EYFS curriculum. In Summer 2 you must review and complete these to populate progress reports. For more details, see Sonar Tracker: How do I enter EYFS (2020) Summative Assessments?

ELG Assessments (Expected and Emerging )

These are made against the Early Learning Goals. Complete these to create the CTF to export to your MIS and populate the End of Reception Outcomes report. For more details, see Sonar Tracker: How do I enter Statutory EYFS (ELG) statutory data?

You can bulk-fill either a subject or a child's assessments to save time - Select the subject / child's name, and then tweak as necessary.
