Intelligence
Overview
Intelligence is a tool from Juniper Education that proactively looks at the data already in Sonar Tracker and / or Sisra Analytics, highlighting target groups of pupils where you can focus on closing the gap, even before you’ve had time to ask for a report.
The new Ofsted framework expects school leaders to speak confidently about which groups need attention. It also expects you to avoid naming individual pupils in the wrong setting.
Intelligence shows you where to look, so you spend less time digging through data and more time acting on it.
While Intelligence currently uses data from Sonar Tracker and Sisra Analytics to provide indicators, in the future, other Juniper Education products, like Juniper Websites, will also feed into it.
How Intelligence works
Intelligence is available for every Juniper Education customer, whether or not you use Sonar Tracker or Sisra Analytics.
If your school uses Sonar Tracker or Sisra Analytics, you can activate Intelligence Indicators for free. This is because Indicators reads data from Sonar Tracker and Sisra Analytics and needs one of these products connected to work.
If your school doesn't use Sonar Tracker or Sisra Analytics, you'll see a message saying Intelligence is coming soon. This message disappears after one of these products connects to your account.
Understanding the tiers
Intelligence has three tiers, each building on the one before.

| 1 | Indicators | Already available, free for Sonar Tracker and Sisra Analytics customers. Coming to other customers soon. | Shows the high-level signals from your school's data, the groups that will benefit focus and intervention. It points to where to look at a group level, but doesn't name individual pupils. |
| 2 | Evidence | Already available through a paid upgrade. | Building on Intelligence Indicators, Intelligence Evidence names the specific pupils behind each indicator, so you can see the evidence for yourself. |
| 3 | School Improvement | Coming soon. | A leadership-level view linking to Ofsted and the new framework. We'll share more when it's ready. |
Who can activate Intelligence
Account Owners and Account Admins for Sonar Tracker and / or Sisra Analytics can activate Intelligence Indicators for their school, where their school is connecting to these products through the JoinUp platform. Every other staff member using the JoinUp platform can explore what Intelligence offers and can ask their Account Owner and Account Admins to enable it on for them.
