Juniper Education App

Overview

This article explains how a parent can report their child's absence through the Juniper Education App.

Prerequisites

• The parent must have downloaded and be registered to use the Juniper Education App for your school.
• You must have set up an email address to which the messages reporting absence can be sent to. See MIS: How do I set up email notifications for staff when a parent reports a pupil's absence? for further information. 

Instructions

Follow these steps to record an absence using the Juniper Education App:

1. Open the Juniper Education App on your device:

   

2. Select Hub:

   

3. Select Notify Absence:

   

4. Complete as much information as you can on the form:

   

   As a minimum, you must select an Absence Type, the Name of child the absence relates to, and the Start date. 

5. Select Save. 

Outcome

The absence notification will be sent to the school.
