Juniper Education App
Overview
This article explains how a parent can report their child's absence through the Juniper Education App.
Prerequisites
- The parent must have downloaded and be registered to use the Juniper Education App for your school.
- You must have set up an email address to which the messages reporting absence can be sent to. See MIS: How do I set up email notifications for staff when a parent reports a pupil's absence? for further information.
Instructions
Follow these steps to record an absence using the Juniper Education App:

Open the Juniper Education App on your device:

Select Hub:

Select Notify Absence:

Complete as much information as you can on the form:
As a minimum, you must select an Absence Type, the Name of child the absence relates to, and the Start date.
- Select Save.
Outcome
The absence notification will be sent to the school.
