Overview

This article explains how to cancel a trip that has been published:

If the trip you want to cancel is still saved as a draft, delete it. For more information, see Working with a draft trip.

Open a trip

Follow these steps to open a published trip:

  1. Open Events.
  2. Select Trips.
  3. From All Trips, locate the trip.
  4. Select the Trip to open it:

Cancel a trip

Follow these steps to cancel a trip that has been published:

  1. Select Cancel Trip:

  2. Check the Cancel Trip: details and a reason explaining why the club has been cancelled in Reason for Cancellation. This will be included in the communication that is sent to parents:

  3. Select Cancel Trip.
  4. When prompted, select Yes to confirm the trip cancellation:

    The trip is cancelled. A message is sent to all invitees confirming the cancellation. A confirmation is also displayed in the trip record along with the reason for cancellation. A modal is shown next to the title of the event indicating that it is cancelled:

    When you return to All Trips, the trip's entry is listed as having a Cancelled Status:

Next steps

After cancelling a trip, ensure you reimburse any payments made by parents / contacts.
