Portal: How are staff email addresses managed within the Juniper MIS / Portal?

Overview

This article explains how staff records are displayed in Portal / MIS as they may show an email address other than the individual's work address. It also explains how to ensure the individual's work address is displayed.

Information

The information we receive from Wonde has four categories of email; Primary, Work, Email and Home.
In Juniper MIS we store two: Work and Home.

The Work email is populated from the address held in these fields, in this order:

  1. Primary.
  2. Work.
  3. Email. 
  4. Home.

Therefore, if the staff member's Home email address is in your MIS as the Primary / Priority 1, this will show as their Work email address.

For their school email address to show in the Portal, this will need to regarded by Wonde as the Primary address so please ensure this shows as a priority in your MIS.
