Overview
This article explains what to do if you are having issues logging in and suggests ways to solve the main problems of seeing a 403 error, indicating that you don't have the correct permissions to access a page, or you find that your web browser is getting in a loop:
If you see a different, black and white 403 error message that is different to the one above, see Sonar Tracker: How do I fix a black and white 403 error code in Sonar Tracker?
Instructions / Troubleshooting steps
Work through the steps below to solve the problem:
-
To resolve:
- Type sonar.junipereducation.org into your browser's address bar where you see the error to get access to Sonar Tracker, or follow this link https://sonar.junipereducation.org.
- Bookmark https://sonar.junipereducation.org in your browser for future access to Sonar Tracker.
Why is this? If you using any other URL when trying to log in to Sonar Tracker, it will not work. Currently, when Googling "Sonar Login" (or similar) the first link presented directs you to our sonar-multischool.junipereducation.org site that is used by MATs to view data within their Trust.
-
To resolve:
- Follow the steps in this article: Clearing the cache / cookies on your Internet browser.
- Log in to https://sonar.junipereducation.org.
Why is this? Older information may already be stored in your web browser's cache that is causing problems when trying to log into Sonar Tracker.
-
To resolve:
Follow the steps in the appropriate guide below. Depending on whether your school account has been integrated with the Juniper Portal the screen may look different, but essentially from the login screen, select the Forgot password option:
- Sonar Tracker: How do I reset my password?
- Sonar Tracker: What do I do if my password email has expired?
Why is this? We are currently integrating Sonar Tracker accounts with our new Join up platform so you may find that you need to use the forgot password option to reset your password. You can set it to the same password if you wish, as long as your old password meets the rules of the new system, but sometimes, our system asks users to complete this process.
Outcome
After following the steps above, you can log in to Sonar Tracker.
If you are still unable to log into Sonar Tracker, raise a ticket.
