Overview

This article explains how to exclude one or more qualifications from the average points used in residual calculations, in the various KS5 reports in Sisra Analytics. This can be used, for example, to exclude vocational qualifications to determine their impact on each Residual. By default, all qualifications are included in the residual calculation.

This will only affect residual calculations.

Instructions

To exclude qualifications from the Residuals from within the KS5 report that you are viewing:

1. Select the Residual Exclusions () icon within the Residual column header:
   
2. From Residual Exclusions filter pane:
   
   1. Check Exclude for one or more qualifications you want to exclude.
   2. Select Apply.

Outcome

The Residuals column and figures are automatically updated, excluding the selected qualifications from the average points used in those calculations. The qualifications are excluded from the residual calculations in your report. This is indicated as Excl in the Residual column of your report:
