Overview
This article explains two different ways to view figures that are on, above, or below target in Key Stage 5 reports:
- Use the Compare with feature to compare current data with target data.
- Use the On Track feature (this will only provide the desired figures if your EAPs have been set up to use Targets as the EAP Baseline.
Prerequesites
- To use the On Track feature to provide the desired figures, your EAPs have been set up to use Targets as the EAP Baseline by your Sisra Administrator, and the expected grades have been entered.
Instructions
Select one of the options to view the figures for how many students are on, above, or below target in each qualification:

To use the Compare with feature to compare current data with target data:
- Select REPORTS.
- Select KS5.
- Select the Data Set, and select Grade Analysis report:
- Select On Track in the VIEWS toolbar:
- Select Qualifications to group the report data by the different qualifications:
- Select Add Compare:
- From the Compare With Window:
- Select the Targets data set from Compare With.
- A Column display preview opens. Select the columns you want to display:
- Select Compare to display the figures from the comparison data set.
- Select Diff to display the difference between the current data set and the comparison data set.
- Select Both to show both the Compare and Diff columns.
- Select Apply to add the additional columns to your report.
- Scroll to the right of the report to view five new columns (>=Compare, > Compare, = Compare, < Compare, and No compare Grade):
These columns display how many students have achieved grades that are above or equal to, above, equal to, or below the grades in the comparison data set (in this casetheir targets). No Compare Grade displays the count or percentage of grades for each qualification that do not have a comparison grade in the data set you are comparing with.
In the example above, the number of students On/Above Track (>=Compare) for Art and Design is 13. 8 of those are Above Track (> Compare), and 5 are On Track (= Compare). 17 are currently Below Track (< Compare).
To view the figures as percentages, toggle the Count / Percent toggle in options to Percent:
Select the name of a qualification to drill down to a class level, enabling you to see how students are performing
To see actual grades achieved by each student compared to their target grades, select Qualification then the Class name (or select Summary to view all students for that qualification) to see the student list. The Grade column displays the student's grade for that data set, with their Target grade in the Grade Compare column to the right:

To use the On track feature:
- Select REPORTS.
- Select KS5.
- Select the Data Set, and select Grade Analysis report:
- Select On Track in the VIEWS toolbar:
- Select Qualifications to group the report data by the different qualifications:
- Review the On/Above Track, Above Track, On Track, and Below Track columns in the report to view which students are on, above, or below their targets:
In the example above, the number of students On/Above Track for Art and Design is 13. 8 of those are Above Track, and 5 are On Track. 17 are currently Below Track.
Outcome
Using either approach, you see how many students are on, above, or below target in each qualification.
