Overview
This article explains how to change the grade equivalencies used in KS5 by changing the option selected in DISPLAY GRADES AS. Your selection from DISPLAY GRADES AS determines how students' grades are group or viewed using an equivalent grade format.
Instructions
From your report, select the equivalent grade format from DISPLAY GRADES AS:
Actual Grades is not available for selection in the Grade Summary view, as it’s only possible to group grades of different types into a single table by displaying them as DfE equivalent grades..
Outcome
The value you select will result in a different outcome, depending on your view.
Grade Summary view
Select an equivalent grade format on the Grade Summary view, to change the grades in the column headings to reflect the display grades option selected.
For example, you can group Level 3 grades by actual grades uploaded, or the DfE equivalent A*-E or DMP grades. Tech Certs can be grouped by the actual grades or L2 Tech Cert grades, whereas GCSE/Other grades can be grouped by the actual grades or challenge points bands.
Grade List view
Select an equivalent grade format on the Grade List view to add a column to the report including each student’s DfE equivalent grade (B2). For example, for the Level 3 performance level, this displays each student’s equivalent A*-E or DMP grades, based on your selection. For Tech Certs this displays each student’s equivalent L2 Tech Cert grade, and for GCSE/Other, their challenge points band.
