MIS: How do I view a pupil's behaviour record / dashboard?

Overview

This article explains how to view a pupil's behaviour record from their pupil record. The behaviour record provides a comprehensive dashboard view of a pupil's positive and negative conduct by including behaviour trends, event lists, and an overview of behaviour points. Use this information to see behavioural patterns over time that help you make informed decisions and apply targeted interventions.

Select one or more of the following filters to determine the information displayed: Time period, specific start and end dates, types of behaviour, behaviour by category, the location where the behaviour incidents happened, and the time during the school day when the incident took place.

Instructions

Follow these steps to view a pupil's behaviour record from Juniper MIS:

Open the pupil record

  1. Select Pupils.
  2. Select All Pupils.
  3. From All Pupils, locate the pupil from the list (use filters / search as appropriate):

  4. Select the Pupil's Full Name to open their Pupil details:

Open the behaviour record / dashboard

From the pupil record, select the Behaviour tab:

Outcome

The pupil's Behaviour record / dashboard is displayed:

  1. Select Filters as appropriate to select the information that you want to display.
  2. At the top of the page, headline figures relating to behaviours are shown at the top of the page. 
  3. Below the headlines, a breakdown of behaviour types and categories that have been used to record the pupil's behaviour are shown graphically.
  4. This is then followed by a list of behaviours is then provided in tabular format. Select the Date of a behaviour incident to open it. When opened, the incident can be viewed, updated or deleted. 
  5. Finally, the different types of behaviour over time and the different behaviour on the days of week are shown graphically.
