Overview
This article explains how to upload slideshow images using File Manager. Slideshow images are displayed at the top of your pages. The images uploaded using this method are used in the default slideshow. To set individual images for specific sections or pages, see Juniper Websites: How do I set up which slideshow images are displayed on specific pages or sections?
How your website was originally set up determines how you edit your slideshow. If your website has the Homepage Slideshow option in the Website tab under Custom Data, visit Juniper Websites: Editing a Custom Homepage Slideshow to learn how to manage your slideshow. If your website does not have this option, follow the instructions below.
Prerequisites
You must be an Administrator to manage slideshow images.
Instructions
Follow these instructions to upload one or more slideshow images to be used across all your pages:
- Select File Manager from the Home tab.
- Select Images.
- Select Slideshow:
- Either:
- Drag and drop one or more files from your device into the File Manager window.
- Or within the File Manager select Upload File and choose the file(s) you want to upload.
- Select Open to upload the selected file(s) to the File Manager.
There is usually a 5MB file size limit per file when uploading files to File Manager. We compress the images you upload, but please consider their size as it affects page loading speed and data usage. Many tools are available to resize your images before uploading.
Outcome
The images will be displayed in your default slideshow.
