Overview
This article explains how to move files using File Manager.
Instructions
This option should be used with caution. It will break the link between any files already added to your content and the file. You will be warned before completing the task, so please only confirm the move if you are confident the item is not used or, you know where it is on your site, so that you can update the link.
From the File Manager:
- Left-click and hold a file.
- Drag the file to another folder with your mouse.
Outcome
Your file will be moved to the folder that you have chosen.
