Sonar Tracker: How do I see how male and female pupils compare to each other at the end of key stage?

Overview

This article outlines how to compare the performance of male and female pupils using statutory data in Sonar Tracker, for example, Phonics Test or Key Stage 1 results.

Instructions

These instructions can be used when making EYFS or Primary comparisons using statutory data:

  1. Select Analysis to open the Statutory Dashboard:
  2. Scroll to the Statutory Checks, Key Stage One or Key Stage Two widget (based on your needs) and select View Report:
  3. Select By Gender:

Outcome

The report view changes to compare Female and Male pupils:

The contents of the report are determined by the report type selected, for example, above Key Stage Two - Expected or Greater Depth report is displayed for Combined RWM, Reading, Writing, Mathematics and Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling.

To print a copy of the report, select Print Screen.

Currently, Sonar Tracker does not allow comparisons between Female or Male pupils and other context groups.
