Sisra Analytics: Why is my KS2 data not appearing in the reports? (Admin)

Overview

This article explains why KS2 Baseline data does not appear in reports and how to fix it.  The example below shows the blank column where KS2 Prior data is expected:

2024/2025 and 2025/2026 cohorts do not have any official KS2 data, so won't appear in the reports unless an internal conversion of KS2 Scaled Scores has been uploaded.

Instructions

Follow these instructions to show KS2 Baseline data in your reports if it is not being displayed as expected:

  • If you have made changes to and republished your KS2 / EAP data, but have not published/republished your Grades data:

    1. Publish your KS2/EAP data:
      1. Select DATA.
      2. Select KS3/4 and cohort.
      3. Select KS2/EAP.
      4. Select Publish KS2/EAP.
      5. Select Publish.
    2. Publish your Grades:
      1. Select Grades.
      2. Select Publish Grades
      3. For each report, select Publish. When prompted, select Publish to republish each report.
  • If republishing your KS2/EAP data and Grades does not fix the problem, it is likely that your reports have been published using Attainment 8 and/or VA estimates that are unsuitable for your KS2 Baseline type.

    1. If your cohort is using Scaled Scores, publish using the latest available estimates for Progress 8 (or if working with a historical cohort, select the year related to the cohort in question).
    2. If your cohort is using NC Fine Levels, publish using estimates earlier than 2021 (based on the year they were reported on).

    For each of your reports:

    1. Select DATA.
    2. Select KS3/4 and cohort.
    3. Select Grades.
    4. Select Publish Grades.
    5. Select Publish next to the report. The publish grades window opens:

      1. Check which KS2 Baseline Type is in use.
      2. Select the relevant A8 Estimates and VA Estimates for that KS2 Baseline Type.
      3. Select Publish.

Outcome

Your KS2 Baseline data will now be displayed.
