Overview
This article explains the main file health check issues when importing AtL Judgements files into Sisra Analytics, and how to check/resolve these.
Prerequisites
You must be an administrator
Instructions
When issues are identified, select Show/Hide Warnings to see the students affected.
Select an error message below to understand the reason for the error and the actions you can take to resolve it:
-
Reason This occurs when a student has more than one judgement for the same subject in your file, for example, a student is listed twice in your file with different judgements for Maths. Actions - Cancel the import.
- Check the correct judgement for the student.
- Open the judgement file in Excel.
- Remove the row containing the incorrect judgement.
- Save your changes in Excel.
- Import your AtL Judgements file using the corrected file.
-
Reason This occurs when one or more students in your AtL Judgements file do not exist in your student data for this cohort, and therefore, are not recognised. Actions - If the student should be included, select Continue with the import, and either import a new student data file including this student, or add the student and their classes manually into Analytics. See Sisra Analytics: What do I do when a new student joins our school? (Admin) for further information.
- If the student should not be included, either continue with your import and manually delete the judgement(s) within Sisra Analytics, or cancel the import, remove the student judgement(s) from your file, and reimport the file.
-
Reason This occurs when judgements exist within your file without a students' ID or name. Actions - Select Cancel the import.
- In Excel, amend the judgement(s) for the affected student(s) in your file.
- Save your changes.
- Import your updated AtL Judgements file into Sisra Analytics.
-
Reason This occurs when the file contains no Student ID information, or because the format of the file being imported is incorrect. Actions - Select Cancel the Import.
- In Excel, check that your file contains Student IDs.
- In Excel, save your file using a different name and file type:
-
- Select Save As.
- Enter a different file name in Enter file name here.
- Select the file type.
- Select CSV (MS-DOS) (*.csv).
- Select Save.
- Re-import your updated AtL Judgements file into Sisra Analytics.
-
Outcome
The AtL Judgements file should now import correctly without any error messages.
