Sisra Analytics: How do I analyse Focus Groups in the KS3/4 reports?

Overview

This article explains how to filter your reports using Focus Groups (created by Sisra Administrators at your school) in the KS3/4 reports.

Prerequisites

  • Administrators must set up Focus Groups.

Instructions

To analyse Focus Groups in your KS3/4 reports:

  1. Open your report.
  2. Filter your figures using your Focus Group (and any other filters you want to select):

    1. Select the Filters tab
    2. Select Add Filters.
    3. Check the Focus Groups and Filters you want to apply.
    4. Select Apply

Outcome

The Filters tab updates to reflect the selections made and your report updates, applying the Focus Groups and Filters applied.

Applying multiple Focus Groups will include students in any of the selected Focus Groups, rather than those in all of the selected Focus Groups.

When viewing a list of students in the KS3/4 reports, Sisra Analytics will highlight those included in your default Focus Group (as defined by your Sisra Administrator) with their chosen colour. This makes them easier to spot during analysis:
