Pupil Asset Spring Census: How to Add Young Carer Indicators

This new pupil level data item is mandatory from the Spring 2023 census and further information relating to this data item can be found in the 'Data items 2022 to 2023' DfE guidance under the 'Young carer indicator' sub-section.

Entering Young Carer details

Young Carer codes can be entered via the 'Vulnerability Markers' area in the Edit tab in the Pupil Profile:

Select the relevant code from the Young carer drop down and save the pupil profile:

This information is not summarised in the Summary sheet but can be accessed via Pupil List by adding the 'Young Carer' column:
