KS3/4: How to view Combined Science grade range counts and percentages

You can view counts or percentages of students entered and achieving 99-44, 99-55, and 99-77 in Combined Science on the Headlines Summary report, within the KS4 Results section (REPORTS > KS3/4 > Select cohort & Report > Whole Cohort):

However, if you are looking to analyse additional grade ranges for Combined Science, such as 99-33, you can find these using the Grades Overview report, as explained below.

  1. Open the appropriate report in REPORTS > KS3/4 > select cohort > select data set > ‘Qualifications’.

  2. Navigate to Grades Area - Overview Report - Qualifications Level, using the blue navigation bar.

  4. Click the % icon and the Cumulative icon, underneath the blue navigation bar.

This will group all qualifications using Attainment 8 points. This means that students would need at least a 33 in Combined Science to be included in the 9-3% column.

  5. If you have any guest students in your cohort, to exclude these from the figures, click Filters tab > Add Filters. Place a tick next to ‘On Roll’ under Student Status, and click ‘Apply’.
